Basic Science R&D Center, KAIST, should represent the symbolism of single building by combining the disciplines of
chemistry, physics, bio-science and nano-engineering in an organic way. We suggested Innoplex that focuses on the
pleasant and creative research environment in harmony with overall master plan of the campus. The design is different
from normal planning of research-focused spaces. The Innoplex will become the new landmark of basic science by
creating an organic and creative combination of programs such as chemistry, physics, bio-science and
nano-engineering.
