The present site in located between the Maebong station that symbolizes the city and Yangjae stream that symbolizes
the nature and planned the cultural facility of the role that intermediates the gap. lt tried to orient the culture center as
an open field that has continuity from the urban flow and cultural environment around avoiding the type of existing
cultural facility where each and every program is accepted in the isoated box from the surrounding and groped
improvements in approachability from the daily life and the residents breaking the dichotomy frame that is elated to
the culture such as local society, cultural facility, life vs. art.
